Sticking to the latest and greatest: Sentry revs most of its products to ensure full support for BPPM 8.6 and BMC Portal 2.9
It's been months that our PATROL developers' team has been playing with the integration mechanisms between PATROL and ProactiveNet (as BPPM – BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management – is really ProactiveNet on top of PATROL, plus BSIM and BEM).
Finally, after numerous tries, we managed to obtain an excellent (though not perfect, to be honest) interpretation of the metrics collected by our KMs in ProactiveNet. That's why we're releasing minor revisions of almost all of our KMs, to provide an excellent and out-of-the-box integration with BPPM 8.5 and even with the upcoming 8.6 version!
