BMC Performance Manager Express for Hitachi Disk Arrays works in conjunction with BMC Performance Manager Express for Hardware. BMC Performance Manager Express for Hardware discovers and monitors all the hardware aspects of the Hitachi disk array: disks, RAIDs, controllers, temperature sensors, fans, power supplies, Ethernet cards, fiber ports, etc. BMC Performance Manager Express for Hitachi Disk Arrays discovers and monitors all the software aspects of the array: overall capacity, spare disks, data traffic, oversubscription, etc.
