Automatic Detection - No Configuration Required

Hardware Sentry requires no configuration to discover and monitor the hardware components within your BMC Performance Manager environment.

Once the KM is installed and properly loaded having met all prerequisites as described in the Installation Guide (such as installing the required manufacturer-specific hardware agents etc.), an icon labeled Hardware appears in the Console and the KM discovers all the hardware components of the managed system.
