Critical Device Monitoring

Hardware Sentry automatically detects the information sources available on the managed system and displays the hardware information provided by these sources in the PATROL Consoles in the corresponding container.

Components Monitoring Icons

As long as at least one hardware information source provides useful data about the most critical non-storage devices in the computer, an icon will be created for each device in the PATROL Console: processors, memory modules and network interfaces.

Processors, memory modules and network interfaces icons are created under a computer icon. Each icon is labeled with a description of the device: ID, size, vendor, role, etc.

If a device appears to be missing, the "Status" parameter will trigger an alert.
