Hardware Sentry enables you to generate a report showing usage statistics returned by a specific ethernet/fiber port. The reports shows the total number of received and transmitted bytes for the selected port. It can easily be customized to show the data that administrators can use to optimize network traffic.
To generate an Ethernet/Fiber Port Traffic Report, right-click the Hardware icon > KM Commands > Reporting > Ethernet/Fiber Port Traffic Report.
| 1. | Define the report settings |

Ethernet/Fiber Port Traffic Report — Settings Definition
| • | Select the data you wish to generate a report for: bytes or packet traffic |
| • | Select the period that you wish the report to cover: number of days or hours |
| • | Select the interval to apply to the report data: hourly or daily |
| • | Select the Ethernet/Fiber port you wish to generate a report for: Click the Ethernet/Fiber Port Selection button to display a list of available ports. |

| • | Click on the port's name to select it. You can select up to 32 ports to be displayed on the same report. |
| • | Click Accept to validate you selection. |
