Monitoring LEDs

All servers and SAN devices use LEDs to report on their essential and most critical functions: whether they are turn off or on, overheating, misconfigured, unplugged, etc. These LEDs constitute the first level of hardware monitoring in many cases.

Therefore, Hardware Sentry KM for PATROL reports the status of the LEDs in the servers that are able to provide that information. That may include front facing and internal LEDs. When possible, the KM will monitor the color/status (on, off, blinking) of each LED.
