Unknown Status Management

At times, although rare, Hardware Sentry is unable to detect the status of a monitored device, and it returns the poll with "Unknown Status".

If this occurs, you can configure Hardware Sentry to perform certain actions:

•	Set the Status parameter to OK (default)

•	Ignore value and do not feed parameter

•	Trigger a WARNING on the Status parameter

•	Trigger an ALARM on the Status parameter

To access this feature, right-click the Hardware icon > KM Commands > KM Settings > Additional Settings > Unknown Status Management:

In addition to the selected actions, if you select the option to Trigger an Internal KM Issue Notification, an error message is displayed in the System Output Window of the PATROL console.
