Packages

The Microsoft Search KM for PATROL packages are available on the BMC Software Web site and the Sentry Software Web site.

There are two packages, each of which can be used to install the KM on every PATROL component (Agent, Console, etc.) according to the platform you are using. However, depending on the package download source, the files name may differ.

Downloading from BMC Web site

The following packages are available in the folder Sentry Software Monitoring and Analytics for BMC ProactiveNet Performance Manager 1.8.00 > Microsoft Applications Monitoring version 1.8.00:

•For Windows systems: LYV39_1.8.00_MSApps_KM.zip

•For UNIX and Linux systems: LYV39_1.8.00_MSApps_KM.tar

Downloading from Sentry Software Web site

•For Windows systems: senmss_WINDOWS_1001.zip

•For Unix systems: senmss_UNIX_1001.zip

The Microsoft Search KM for PATROL packages are designed for use with the BMC Software Installation Utility (formerly known as Thorium). They need to be merged with the latest available version of the BMC Software Installation Utility. Please see instructions.
