BPM Express for Microsoft Search is a PM for the Portal and therefore needs to be installed within the BMC© Portal environment.
| 1. | As this is an agent-less performance manager for the web-based BMC© Performance Manager Portal, it can be installed on just one managed element equipped with the Portal. |
| 2. | Minimum version of BMC© Portal should be 2.5.00. |
| 3. | The RSM program should be installed on a Windows system (it can be the same as the Portal) |
| 4. | Install the vendor-specific instrumentation agents or system management tools on the managed elements to be monitored prior to installing the PM. See the platform-specific guides for details. |
