Adding a NetApp Filer

To monitor a NetApp Filer, you need to add it to your managed environment. To add a NetApp Filer to the PATROL console, right-click the NetApp Filer main icon > KM Commands > Add a NetApp Filer:

Accessing the Add a NetApp Filer KM Command

1.Enter the Host name or IP address of the NetApp Filer you wish to add to your monitoring environment.

2.Press Next to continue.

3.Enter the name of the SNMP community you wish to use.

4.Press Finish to validate.

A new icon representing the NetApp Filer is automatically added to the PATROL console underneath the NetApp Filers KM for PATROL main icon. The component is then ready to be monitored.
