Due to the dramatic structural changes operated in the NetApp Filers KM for PATROL monitoring solution, there is no automatic upgrade mechanism from previous versions (1.x) to 2.x.
The PATROL Classic Console does not support the loading of several versions of the same KM. It is therefore always recommended to only install the latest version of a KM on the Classic Console. However, considering the major differences between NetApp Filers KM for PATROL 1.x and 2.x, the latest version of the KM will not be able to display objects and parameters collected by an older version still running on an Agent. If your environment includes PATROL Classic Consoles it is highly recommended that you perform an upgrade of NetApp Filers KM for PATROL of all Agents and Consoles at the same time.
