NetApp Filers KM for PATROL enables administrators to monitor their NetApp filers directly from the PATROL console avoiding the need to use a separate monitoring solution. The KM collects and brings critical performance data and useful metrics into your BMC Performance Manager environment. As part of the Sentry Software Storage solution NetApp Filers KM for PATROL covers performance counters while Hardware Sentry KM for PATROL collects hardware-related information.

PATROL Console – NetApp Filers KM for PATROL

NetApp Filers KM for PATROL  works in conjunction with Hardware Sentry KM for PATROL. Hardware Sentry KM discovers and monitors all the hardware aspects of the NetApp Filers: disks, LUNs, temperature sensors, fans, power supplies, etc; while NetApp Filers KM for PATROL discovers and monitors all the software aspects of the filers: LUN statistics, mirroring performances, space consumption, etc.
