Search WWN |

Every component is uniquely identified on the SAN with an obfuscated series of letters and digits called a WWN: LUNs, storage groups, disks, fiber ports, arrays, servers, etc. Retrieving a device corresponding to a WWN found in error log or any other administration GUI is a nightmare for SAN administrators. The Search WNN feature has been designed to easily find any component based on its complete or partial World Wild Name. 1.In the console, click the NetApp Filer icon > KM Commands > Search WWN.
Opening the Search WWN Settings Panel 2.Select a search option, Contains, Starts with, or Ends with. 3.Type the value to search for.
Search WWN Setting Panel 4.Click Search to display the search results
Search WWN Results 5.The search results panel lists the WWN corresponding to the search options you have defined with their associated Initiator, Filer and LUN. |
