In order to install Monitoring Studio, you need the latest version of the BMC Software Installation Utility. You can download the latest version of the Installation Utility from the BMC Software FTP site at: ftp://ftp.bmc.com/pub/patrol/patches/.
| 1. | Choose the appropriate package depending on the platform on which you plan to install Monitoring Studio: |
| • | For UNIX/Linux systems: ins_ALL_<version number>.tar |
| • | For Windows systems: ins_WINDOWS_<version number>.exe |
The packages are valid for installation on Agents, Consoles and Console Servers
| 2. | Place the Installation Utility package in the same folder as the Monitoring Studio package |
