Description

This connector provides hardware monitoring for Cisco UCS Blade chassis (as well as the Cisco Fabric Interconnect Switch) through the UCS Manager (running on the Fabric Interconnect Switch).

Connector Activation Criteria

The Cisco UCS Manager (Fabric Interconnect Switch) connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all of the criteria below are met:

  • Operating System is Out-of-Band
  • The monitored host responds appropriately to a Cisco UCS XML API request
