Connector Activation Criteria

The IBM Director Agent 3.x - Windows connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all of the criteria below are met:

  • Operating System is Microsoft Windows
  • The Windows service TWGIPC is running
  • The WMI query below to the managed host succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/cimv2
    • WQL Query: SELECT Version FROM IBMPSG_UniversalManageabilityServices
    • Result contains: ^3\.1\.[1-9].* (regex)
  • The WMI query below to the managed host succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/cimv2
    • WQL Query: SELECT ProductName FROM IBMPSG_ComputerSystemDetails
