HP 3PAR Disk Array

Description

This connector discovers the enclosure and the disks of HP 3PAR disk arrays, as well as the storage pools. It will also discover and monitor the FC ports of the array and the various environment sensors when available (temperatures, fans, power supplies, etc.). It relies on the WBEM technology and supports SMI-S compliant disk arrays only.

Connector Activation Criteria

The HP 3PAR Disk Array connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • The WBEM query below to the managed host succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/tpd
    • WQL Query: SELECT Name FROM TPD_StorageSystem
