Tivoli Workload Scheduler Database Validation

Home  Previous  Next

This section describes the method for performing a database validation against each database item. Essentially, each command will run a composer “create <file> from <database item>” and then runs a composer “validate <file>” from the data that has been dumped. The validation checks the integrity of the database objects and will report on any problems.

To validate TWS database:

1.Right-click and hold the mouse pointer on the Tivoli Workload Scheduler application instance icon. The application menu appears.
2.Choose Validate Configurations > Calendars (or another database item). The login and password dialog box appears.
3.Enter the login details of an account that has enough privileges to run the validate command. A dialog box will appear with the results of the validation.
