This connector monitors the HP/Compaq SCSI disk by connecting to the Storage Management SNMP sub-agent of the HP Insight Manager agent.

Connector Activation Criteria

The HP Insight Management Agent - SCSI Storage connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all of the criteria below are met:

  • Operating System is NOT Microsoft Windows
  • An SNMP Get-Next on the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.5.2.4.1.1 must return a value in the same subtree
