Connector Activation Criteria

The Dell CMC (Dell Chassis Management Controller) connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all of the criteria below are met:

  • SSH is enabled on the monitored host
  • The monitored host must send $
  • The connector sends quit[Return]logout[Return]exit[Return]
  • The captured output contains CMC firmware (regex)
