Monitoring Studio KM shared library

Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch if you are using Monitoring Studio KM 8.5.00 with versions 3.4.x or 3.5.x of the PATROL Agent.

What does it fix?

This patch fixes a compatibility issue with versions 3.4.x and 3.5.x of the PATROL Agent. No object could be created: at each discovery (and at the end of a wizard), the configured objects were created and immediatly destroyed.

How to install the patch?

Install the SW_shared_utils.lib file in the %PATROL_HOME%\lib\psl directory of the managed server. Restart the PATROL Agent for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
Warning! Once the file is installed, the KM stops working until the PATROL Agent has been reinitialized.
