Apply this patch if you are using Hardware Sentry on IBM xSeries servers running Windows with the version 5.20 of the IBM Director Agent

What does it fix?

The version 5.20 of the IBM Director Agent was not fully supported by Hardware Sentry 1.4.00. Disks (controllers, physical disks and RAIDs) were notably neither discovered nor monitored.

How to install the patch?

Install the following files in the %PATROL_HOME%\lib\MS_HW_hdf directory of the managed server:
- MS_HW_Director5NT.hdf
- MS_HW_Director52AdaptecNT.hdf
- MS_HW_Director52LSINT.hdf
- MS_HW_Director52NT.hdf

Reinitialize the KM for the new connectors to be taken into account ([Right-click] on the main Hardware Sentry icon > [KM Commands] > [Reinitialize...]).
