Fixed Issues

The following problems were reported in earlier releases and have been corrected in this release.

SSH/TELNET:
In previous versions, the SSH or TELNET protocol for connections could not be explicitly selected as the Force SSH and Force TELNET RSM variables were not properly taken into account by the product.
The availability of the SSH and Telnet protocol on a Storage or Other element type is assessed with just the ability to establish a connection to the host, and without actually running any shell command. This avoids the unpredictable behavior of certain shell commands on devices not designed to handle such commands (and notably the lack of proper closure of the connection).
SNMP Trap port: A conflict could occur when BMC Performance Manager Express for Server and BMC Performance Manager Express for Hardware were being loaded on the same RSM. As both applications rely on the SNMP stack developed by Westhawk, custom settings, and particularly the Trap port configuration, were not correctly considered. To solve this issue, the Trap section has been disabled in the SNMP code of BMC Performance Manager for Hardware.
WBEM client - Password length: The maximum number of characters allowed for the WBEM client password is now limited to 100 characters.
Sun Solaris: The temperature metrics were not displayed for Solaris servers.
SNMP walk: An exception occurred while performing the SNMP walk command. Debug information were therefore missing.
SSH enabled systems: An issue had been identified with the password prompts of any SSH enabled system that has a non-English OS. This issue prevented the RSM to connect to the SSH enabled system.
