What's New

The EMC Disk Arrays KM for PATROL is now able to perform remote monitoring through an unlimited number of EMC SMI-S providers. This greatly facilitates the monitoring of EMC Symmetrix and Symmetrix V-Max arrays which embed their own SMI-S provider.
Full support for BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management (BPPM 8.5): the EMC Disk Arrays KM now fully and natively integrates with the latest iteration of BMC's monitoring framework. It includes the required metadata that describe the classes and parameters for accurate interpretation, correlation and trending in ProactiveNet.

Changes and Enhancements

Parameters have been removed from the SEN_EMC_MAIN class. The new SEN_EMC_SMISPROVIDER class has been added with the following parameters:
ManagedArrays
Status
StatusInformation
Performance have been improved to handle a large number of objects exposed by several remote EMC SMI-S providers.
The KM default polling interval has been modified to 5 minutes in order to be greater than the default refresh rate of the EMC SMI-S providers to make sure the parameters are properly updated.

Fixed Issues

The LUN Owning Processor Table now properly displays the LUN's default owner in addition to the current one.
