 Due to major technical improvements, older versions of BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management - IBM DS6000, DS8000 Series Storage and version 1.3.00 are not compatible. They cannot be operated simultaneously and upgrading is not supported. Note that the entire configuration of BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management - IBM DS6000, DS8000 Series Storage will be lost when upgrading from an older version. To use version 1.3.00 safely, we strongly recommend you to perform the following operations:
| 1. | Uninstall older version of BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management - IBM DS6000, DS8000 Series Storage. |
| 2. | Install version 1.3.00 of BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management - IBM DS6000, DS8000 Series Storage. |
| 3. | Configure the connections to the IBM Storage Manager. |
| 4. | Reconfigure all customizable settings, as needed |

Known Limitation
| • | Attribute names modifications are not always handled properly within the BMC ProactiveNet console. You might see some parameters appear twice, that is under their former and actual names. If you encounter this problem, contact a BMC support representative. |
