IBM SVC-Storwize KM for PATROL

Important: IBM SVC-Storwize KM for PATROL 2.0.00 has been completely reviewed. This WBEM-based version provides more capabilities and valuable information about the health and performance of your IBM SVC-Storwize environment. Version 2.0.00 can be installed to replace older versions of the KM. In this case, all previous data collected with older versions will be lost. Note that IBM SVC-Storwize KM for PATROL 2.0.00 can coexist independently with older versions of the KM.

Changes and Improvements

•	The way IBM SVC-Storwize KM for PATROL determines whether the PATROL Agent is configured via CMA or Classic Mode has been improved.

•	The password algorithm encryption is now handled by the PATROL Agent.

•	In order to optimize the monitoring on large environment, users can now customize the discovery and the collect processes timeouts by using two new configuration variables: discoveryOperationTimeout and collectOperationTimeout.

Fixed Issues

•	The System Output Window (SOW) messages generated by IBM SVC-Storwize KM for PATROL are now saved in the SEN_SVCSTORWIZE_debug_km_portnumber_yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm.log debug file when the debug mode is activated.

•	Java Settings - User Selection: the username entered in the "Java Settings" dialog box was not properly saved in the configuration.
