Parameters
• | The NetworkTransferByteRate and DiskTransferByteRate parameters were added to the SEN_NA_FILER application class. They respectively report on the overall amount of data transferred over the network and the overall amount of data transferred to disks. |
• | The TransferByteRate parameter was added to the SEN_NA_LUN application class. It reports on the count of data transferred per second for a specific LUN. |
• | The ServerTransferByteRate and ClientTransferByteRate parameters were added to the SEN_NA_NFSCACHE application class. They respectively report on the amount of data transferred per seconds to the server and the amount of data transferred per second to the clients. |
• | The TimeSinceLastActivity parameter was added to the SEN_NA_LUN application class. It reports the number of days since the last read or write operation has been observed on the monitored LUN. |
Reporting
• | Two new reports are available: Per Host Storage Allocation and Per LUN Storage Allocation. They report on the volume of storage respectively allocated to each monitored host and LUN. |
KM Commands
• | The Acknowledge Alert and Reset KM commands was added to the SEN_NA_BACKUPRESTORE and SEN_NA_BACKUPDUMP application classes. It allows administrators to manually acknowledge alerts and reset the counters of parameters of the backup dumps and restores instances. |
Changes and improvements
• | The Debug mode was modified to ensure BPPM 9.x compatibility. |
• | The KM commands menu has been reorganized. |
• | The "Restore Device Monitoring" KM command was renamed "Restore Monitoring". The user interface was also simplified to reduce the number of operations required to restore the monitoring of a component. |
• | Backups and failed restores now trigger an alert by default. This alert can be automatically acknowledged after a certain delay configurable through a new dialog-box. A new KM command has also been added to manually acknowledge these alerts. |
Fixed Issues
• | The product now automatically detects the presence of colons (:) in the WWNs query results to allow WWNs to be properly displayed the user report. |
