What's New

Full support for BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management (BPPM 8.5): the HP EVA KM now fully and natively integrates with the latest iteration of BMC's monitoring framework. It includes the required metadata that describe the classes and parameters for accurate interpretation, correlation and trending in ProactiveNet.
Data Replication Metrics: Functionality for monitoring on Data Replication performance has been added to the product. The following parameters are collected and displayed in your Console:
CopyInByteRate: Rate at which data is copied to an array to populate the members of a DR group with data when an initial copy or full copy is requested.
CopyOutByteRate: Rate at which data is copied from an array to populate the members of a DR group with data when an initial copy or full copy is requested.
CopyRetriesByteRate: Copy actions that had to be retransmitted during the sample interval in response to a failed copy transaction.
FreeCommandResources: Minimum number of free resources available for DR command operations.
FreeCopyResources: Minimum number of free resources available for DR copy operations.
FreeWriteResources: Minimum number of free resources available for DR write operations.
RoundTripDelay: Average time in milliseconds during the measurement interval for a signal (ping) to travel from source to destination and back again.
WriteInByteRate: Rate at which data is written to an array.
WriteOutByteRate: Rate at which data is written from an array.
WriteRetriesByteRate: Write actions that had to be retransmitted during the sample interval in response to a failed write transaction.

Fixed Issues

The ASCII filter used by HP EVA KM for PATROL did not take Asian characters into account preventing PATROL IDs to be properly built.
