Status Mapping Rules

The status of a component is determined by the State parameter and by the status mapping rule. This mapping rule indicates which states will trigger a warning or an alarm on the Status parameter. The default mapping rules are listed in the tables below. Refer to Configuring Alerts Rules to know how to change these default settings.

File System Mount Status

The following VFSFileSystemMountState to VFSFileSystemMountStatus mapping rule is used by default:

Not Mounted/Auto Enabled inline Failure
Mounted/Error inline Failure
Mounted/Different Mount Point inline Suspicious
Not Mounted/Auto Disnabled inline Suspicious
Unknown inline Suspicious
All other states inline OK

Quota Status

The following VFSQuotaState to VFSQuotaStatus mapping rule is used by default:

Blocks Soft Limit Exceeded inline Suspicious
Files Soft Limit Exceeded inline Suspicious
Blocks & Files Soft Limit Exceeded inline Suspicious
Unknown inline Suspicious
All other states inline OK
