Install this patch if you want to monitor the components of an external disk shelf attached to your Dell PowerEdge Server.

What does it fix?

Adds monitoring of components in an external disk shelf.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following files to %RSM_HOME%\RSMxx\SEN_HW\hdf_2xxx\ on each RSM:
    • MS_HW_DellStorageManager.hdf
  2. No further actions are required. The new component monitoring will be added at the next discovery.
