Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if the virtual ports that are part of SEA Virtual Adapters have no statistics.

What does it fix?

Improves SEA Virtual Adapters monitoring to include statistics and link status for virtual ports.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to %RSM_HOME%\RSMxx\SEN_HW\hdf_2xxx\ on each RSM:
    • MS_HW_IBMAIX.hdf
  2. No further actions are required. The new component monitoring will be added at the next discovery.
