Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch if the removed disks are reported as Degraded instead of Failed by EMC Disk Arrays KM for PATROL.

What does it fix?

The solution now reports removed disks as Failed.

How to install the patch?

  1. Stop the PATROL Agent
  2. Unzip the following file to the %PATROL_HOME% or $PATROL_HOME directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • emc-disk-arrays-SENEMC-2135-archive.zip
    Important: This operation will overwrite the bin/SEN_EMC_v1.jar file.
  3. Start the PATROL Agent. Nothing needs to be installed on the console.
