Should you install this patch?

Install this patch you are using Monitoring Studio to execute local OS commands on IBM AIX.

What does it fix?

An issue prevents Monitoring Studio from determining that the OS command should be executed locally. Monitoring Studio therefore tries to establish an SSH connection to run the command and fails.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/psl or %PATROL_HOME%\lib\psl directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • SEN_MS_shared_utils.lib
  2. Restart the PATROL Agent for the patch to take effect.
