Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch if you experience failures, get a truncated output or unexpected timeout errors when performing SSH, SNMP, or WBEM requests

What does it fix?

The size of the header buffer used by SSH, SNMP, and WBEM requests has been increased to ensure the proper execution of requests producing large result outputs.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/psl or %PATROL_HOME%\lib\psl directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • MS_HW_matsya.lib
  2. Restart the PATROL Agent for the patch to take effect.
  3. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
