Monitoring Studio KM SNMP Polling library

Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch in combination with patch P1045 if you are ugrading to v8.5.01 and use the SNMP Polling features of Monitoring Studio.

What does it fix?

SNMP Polling configured in prior versions do not work in v8.5.01 because of the introduction of the SNMP Table monitoring feature. This patch migrates existing SNMP Polling to be compatible with the current version.

How to install the patch?

Install the SW_sentry_snmppolling.lib file in the %PATROL_HOME%\lib\psl directory of the managed server. Restart the PATROL Agent for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.

Warning! Once the file is installed, the KM stops working until the PATROL Agent has been reinitialized.
