Thresholds management for Monitoring Studio KM for PATROL

Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch if you use the "tuning" thresholds mechanism in Monitoring Studio KM for PATROL

What does it fix?

This patch fixes an issue that prevented Monitoring Studio KM for PATROL from applying thresholds immediately when using the "Tuning" thresholds mechanism. A break/update connection to the PATROL Agent or a PATROL Agent restart was necessary for the thresholds to be taken into account. This issue was introduced in version 8.5.00.

How to install the patch?

Install the SW_sentry_thresholds.lib file in the %PATROL_HOME%\lib\psl directory of the managed server. Restart the PATROL Agent for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.

Warning! Once the file is installed, the KM stops working until the PATROL Agent has been reinitialized.
