Connector for Sun Solaris - Fault Manager (Memory and CPU)

Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if you are monitoring a Sun/Oracle Solaris 10/11 server.

What does it fix?

Some CPU fault events were previously missed if "cpu" was not in the fault description. All events in the "cpu" fault class will now generate alerts.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to %RSM_HOME%\RSMxx\SEN_HW\hdf_2xxx\ on each RSM:
    • MS_HW_SunFmadm.hdf
  2. No further actions are required. The new component monitoring will be added at the next discovery.
