Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch if you are monitoring an HP BladeSystem c7000 Chassis.

What does it fix?

On HP BladeSystem c7000 chassis, some temperature sensors were not properly discovered.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/MS_HW_hdf directory on the managed server:
    • MS_HW_HPBladeTelnet.hdf
  2. Re-initialize the KM.
Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
