Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if you monitor a Dell PowerEdge M1000e chassis and need to collect the overall status of each blade.

What does it fix?

  • Adds the monitoring of the overall status of each blade installed in the chassis.
  • Fixes the collect of the ambient temperature sensor in most recent versions of the Dell CMC firmware.

How to install the patch?

Copy the following file to %RSM_HOME%\RSMxx\SEN_HW\hdf_2x\ on each RSM:

  • MS_HW_DellCMC.hdf
No further actions are required. The new component monitoring will be added at the next discovery.
