Should you install this patch?

Install this patch on Windows servers performing Web Requests.

What does it fix?

The response time of the Web requests was returned in scientific format when they were performed extremely fast. Because this format cannot be interpreted by the PATROL Agent, false alerts were triggered on the ServerConnectionState parameter. Scientific formats are now reformatted by Monitoring Studio to allow the PATROL Agent to properly interpret them.

How to install the patch?

  1. Unzip the SW_winHTTP.zip file to the %PATROL_HOME%\bin directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs.
  2. The PATROL Agent does NOT need to be restarted. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
