Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if you wish to monitor the pathcount of LUNs on your VMWare ESX5i / vSphere 5 host server.

What does it fix?

Adds monitoring of LUNs on VMWare ESX5i / vSphere 5 host servers.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following files to %RSM_HOME%\RSMx\SEN_HW\hdf_2xxx\ on each RSM:
    • MS_HW_VMwareESX5iLUNesxcli.hdf
    • MS_HW_VMwareESX5iLUNSSH.hdf
  2. Modify the ESX server's element profile.
  3. Add SSH credentials.
