Connector for LSI sas2ircu-Managed RAID Controllers (Linux).

Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if you wish to monitor a sas2ircu-Managed RAID Controller and the manufacturer's agent does not report its status or the agent is not installed.

What does it fix?

Adds monitoring of LSI sas2ircu-Managed RAID Controllers.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/MS_HW_hdf directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • MS_HW_LSIsas2ircu.hdf
  2. This connector requires sudo / root access to run:

    /opt/lsi/bin/sas2ircu LIST

    /opt/lsi/bin/sas2ircu $CONTROLLER DISPLAY

  3. Re-initialize Hardware Sentry for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
