Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if you use the Multi-Parameter Formula tool to extract values collected by the Windows NT Performance Wizard from BMC.

What does it fix?

This patch adds support for PATROL IDs containing the semi-colon ";" character, allowing the selection of Windows NT Performance Monitor parameters (NT_PERFMON_ classes).

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following files to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/psl or %PATROL_HOME%\lib\psl directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • SW_sentry_kmwatch.lib
    • SW_sentry_shared.lib
  2. Restart the PATROL Agent for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
