Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if you have Uemcli and Navisphere CLI installed on the same server or if you have unbound disks.

What does it fix?

This patch:

  • prevents both UemCli and Navisphere from activating for the storage system.
  • recognizes the unbound status for the Navisphere physical disks

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following files to the %PATROL_HOME%\lib\MS_HW_hdf or $PATROL_HOME/lib/MS_HW_hdf directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • MS_HW_EMCuemcli.hdf
    • MS_HW_EMCNavisphereCLI.hdf
  2. Re-initialize Hardware Sentry for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
