HP MSA 2000 & P2000

Description

This connector discovers the Environmental, Physical Disk, Logical Disk, Management Network Cards and Fibre Ports on P2000 / MSA Series Filers. We recommend setting the collection interval for all MSA Disk arrays to at least 15 minutes to prevent the management card from being overloaded.

Connector Activation Criteria

The HP MSA 2000 & P2000 connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • SSH is enabled on the monitored host
  • The monitored host sends a prompt
  • The connector sends set cli-parameters pager off[Return]
  • The monitored host sends another prompt
  • The connector sends versions[Return]
  • The monitored host sends another prompt
  • The connector sends exit[Return]
  • The captured output contains \(Storage Controller CPU Type\)\|\(Controller . Versions\) (regex)
