Should you install this patch?

Install this patch if your Linux server has ports with names beginning with "en" (CentOS / Redhat 7)

What does it fix?

Adds monitoring of ports with names beginning with en[ospx].

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file the %PATROL_HOME%\lib\MS_HW_hdf or $PATROL_HOME/lib/MS_HW_hdf directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • MS_HW_MIB2Linux.hdf
  2. Re-initialize Hardware Sentry for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
