Hardware Sentry connector for HP Insight Management Agent - iLO

Should you install this patch?

Apply this patch if you are using Hardware Sentry on a HP ProLiant server equipped with a Remote Insight or iLO management card.

What does it fix?

This patch adds the monitoring of the Remote Insight or iLO card itself on HP ProLiant servers (status of the management card and of its network interface).

How to install the patch?

Install the MS_HW_CpMgSm2.hdf file in the $PATROL_HOME/lib/MS_HW_hdf directory of the managed server. Re-initialize Hardware Sentry for the patch to take effect. Nothing needs to be installed on Console systems.
