Install this patch to enable the monitoring of Dell TL2000/4000 Tape Libraries.

What does it fix?

Adds support for Dell TL2000/4000 Tape Libraries.

How to install the patch?

  1. Copy the following file to the $PATROL_HOME/lib/MS_HW_hdf directory on the server where the PATROL Agent runs:
    • MS_HW_DellTL2000.hdf
  2. Re-initialize Hardware Sentry for the patch to take effect.
  3. Define a new remote monitoring connection for the Dell TL2000/4000 Tape Library.
